As far as the articles go, this month was really split between the general and technical categories. Not to worry though, I haven’t forgotten about the environment or AI and ethics. There’s a lot more to come. In the meantime, check out the articles you may have missed.
General AI
Ever wonder why we use words like consciousness, emotions and feelings when describing AI? Yea, that’s not the best thing to do. Check out my article called Anthropomorphizing AI to learn more.
You already know that while I’m a fan of AI, there are environmental concerns and many steps are being taken to address this. However, our media seems to remain silent on these positive steps. Read about that in the article titled, Unfair Reporting on AI: The Media’s Blind Spot for Sustainable Infrastructure.
To round out the new articles in general AI category, here’s a couple you could actually use today. If you still haven’t given AI a try or feel intimidated, check this out and get ready to interact yourself with AI. Learn what the fuss is about. You won’t be sorry.
First you’ll need to understand how to address AI. Here’s an article that will help get you past the blank prompt stare. It’s called The Secret Formula to Writing Better AI Prompts (No Coding Required).

That rounds out the general AI category since the last checkpoint.
Technical
Now let’s review the technical side of things. Don’t worry, the writing style is as its always been. I limit the technical jargon and exclude the math. The concepts are what’s important here.
To start, check out how AI is transitioning away from monolithic systems to smaller modules that can be plug and play in my article called Modular AI.
AI is constantly changing and that is in large part due to training methods and the hardware itself. I focused on training in the article titled Adversarial Training – The First Line of AI Defense. Once you’ve gotten your feet wet in adversarial training, check out how that becomes part of a larger whole in an article called What Is Recursive Leaning? The Definitive Guide to Types, Trends and Roadblocks.
Next we know AI has an image problem in large part due to the media and politicians hollering at how AI is destroying the environment and raising utility rates. Yes, problems have occurred and yes, they are being addressed. Check out a balanced report called AI Data-Centers. It’s best to keep a level head vs jumping blindly on the bandwagon.
The last article in the technical category is called Chronos Risk Management: Factors Missing Constraints in AI. This was a fascinating article to write. For those interested in AI and how it impacts the environment and ethics, I think you’ll really enjoy this article. Just imagine a system that accepts your prompts but factors things you haven’t even considered!
Summary
As you can see, it’s been a very busy month. I spend some time dabbling in the technical aspects of the site. The videos, podcasts, my new page on Facebook, X and of course my new Newsletter signup. In addition to that, 9 more articles spread out between general AI and technical categories. Whew, busy. A labor of love lol .😊
